Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Privacy Assistant to join our Legal Services team in Sydney NSW. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing accurate, timely, and practical support to privacy-related matters within a nationally significant Agency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remediate privacy complaints and incidents promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure accurate and thorough recordkeeping, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
  • Engage in occasional project-based work, supporting new systems and tools within the Privacy team
  • Foster effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting professional, ethical standards and building team expertise in privacy

Requirements

  • Strong Attention to Detail: Accurate handling of information and records
  • Excellent Recordkeeping Skills: Proficiency in maintaining documentation
  • ICT Competency: Familiarity with ICT systems and processes
  • Outstanding Communication Skills: Ability to build and maintain networks
