Job Description:

The Marketing Officer is a key role in our business development team.

This position plays a vital part in supporting the Business Development Manager in identifying and preparing internal and external business promotions.

  • Supports the Business Development Manager in identifying, planning, booking, and preparing internal and external business promotions.
  • Contributes to desktop publishing tasks using Canva or similar technologies.

Key Responsibilities include maintaining company systems including physical and digital records.

  • Clear grouped email mailboxes according to a daily schedule.
  • Liaise with customers to answer queries about their new or existing membership.
  • Analyse and escalate potential risks.
  • Maintain company systems including physical and digital records.
  • Create and lodge various reports as required.
  • Participate in regular operational meetings.
  • Support a collaborative environment within the office.

Working Conditions:

  • Based in Canberra, working on site at our office 5 days per week.
  • Required to work 4 hours per day with great flexibility offered.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years of equivalent administrative experience.
  • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and prioritising skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A pleasant phone manner and the ability to work directly with customers.
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for business development.
  • Be self-motivated & work well unsupervised.
  • Be an Australian citizen.
