Job Overview

This role plays a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of public spaces across the city. As an Urban Landscapes Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that public areas are kept in optimal condition through efficient use of resources and adherence to high standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance urban landscapes across the city, including operation of specialized plant equipment.
  • Implement high standards in public environments with a strong focus on safety and quality.
  • Support the maintenance and security of equipment, tools, and infrastructure used in open spaces.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and contribute to reviewing completed works.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate II or III in: Horticulture, Arboriculture, or Turf Maintenance.
  • Proven experience in urban landscape maintenance, including front deck mowers and related equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork and public interaction.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Solid understanding of WHS regulations, statutory requirements, and quality systems.
  • Willingness to contribute to business and quality system improvements.
  • Basic computer and mobile device competency.
