About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your technical expertise, investigative acumen, people skills, and project coordination capabilities to support the delivery of business-critical infrastructure services. You will work closely with our technology infrastructure team to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate infrastructure requirements and elements of business projects and requests
  • Apply good IT infrastructure practices to bring together technical analysis and design for solution formulation
  • Provide advice on, document, and plan delivery of solutions
  • Coordinate implementation of designs to ensure high-quality solutions go into production
  • Collaborate with technical specialists across hosting services, virtualisation, networking, security, and application areas
  • Ensure security, regulatory, and audit needs are sufficiently documented and accounted for
  • Use JIRA and ServiceNow to manage workflow and implement change in a controlled environment
Requirements
  • Technical design experience, including requirements gathering, generating design documentation, and implementation planning
  • Project planning, delivery, and execution experience, with familiarity with project management concepts
  • Familiarity with budget and resource planning estimations
  • Ability to identify and report risks, as well as plan mitigation and resolution approaches
  • Demonstrated empathy towards others and willingness to understand diversity of goals
  • Experience in IT infrastructure areas, such as operating systems, supporting services, networking, firewalls, hardware, virtualisation, databases, IT security principles, and application concepts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud IaaS/PaaS Services experience, such as AWS or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with Cloud SaaS platforms, such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar
  • Experience in delivering new technology initiatives or platforms, from requirements to production
  • Knowledge of distributed system concepts and scalability best practices
  • Knowledge of application architecture and design principles, e.g. microservices, containerisation
  • Interest in emerging technologies within and outside the infrastructure space
  • Project management experience or qualifications
  • Financial Services industry experience or knowledge
