Senior Project Manager Opportunity

This is a high-priority role for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead exciting building projects in Brisbane. The successful candidate will coordinate and manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from pre-design to post-construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Lead the coordination and management of building projects using Modern Methods of Construction.
  • Manage project procurement, ensuring adherence to time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure project alignment with their requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage external consultants and internal staff involved in project delivery.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on procurement and project programming.
  • Manage project financials and reporting.
  • Mentor and support a team of Project Managers.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on building construction.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Experience with Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Tertiary qualification in construction management or a related field.
  • Experience working on government projects is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety principles.

The ideal candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised while contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
