Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of rotating and mechanical equipment onsite through condition monitoring, preventive maintenance, equipment evaluation, and fault mitigation. This is essential to achieve our objective of producing high-quality and cost-effective lithium products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing and managing site-wide reliability-centered maintenance programs for all rotating and mechanical equipment.
  • Developing and optimizing condition monitoring and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Assigning and monitoring key equipment reliability and availability metrics across the plant.
  • Evaluating equipment performance, damage, and failure rates.
  • Performing root cause analysis and equipment failure investigations.
  • Engineering solutions to address equipment failure, malfunction, or changed performance.
  • Liaising with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and external contractors regarding equipment upgrades and modifications.
  • Preparing detailed work instructions for corrective maintenance activities.
  • Providing technical support to site personnel in all aspects of mechanical engineering.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical).
  • 10+ years' professional experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with rotating and mechanical equipment within a processing plant.
  • Experience with reliability-centered maintenance methodologies.
  • Understanding of condition monitoring methods and techniques.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner.
