Job Title: Senior Vice President, Program and Project Management

BNY Mellon is seeking a highly experienced Senior Vice President, Program and Project Management to lead the management, governance, and delivery of our Australian strategy for Asset Servicing.

This role will be responsible for providing direct support to the Head of Asset Servicing in Australia, driving the execution of our strategy, and managing vendor/partner and client relations to ensure service expectations are developed and met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage project planning and management activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to internal client specifications.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules, including goals, risks, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project results for significant deviations and report progress/issues to Senior Executives and Stakeholders.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure project delivery, contributing to the achievement of the business's objectives.
  • Collaborate with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field.
  • 15+ years of total work experience in a Program Management/Implementation or Project Management role, within Financial services, with experience at a global financial services firm.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience in managing large strategic programs is favorable.
  • Commercial experience and understanding of contractual and financial frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proven senior stakeholder management experience and ability to navigate a global organization.
