As a Community Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting customers with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life.
You will provide support in everyday activities around the home, assist with hygiene and personal care, chaperone activities outside the home environment, assist with medication compliance, and facilitate community access.
- Everyday activities include providing support with meal preparation, assistance with personal care, and facilitating community engagement.
- You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and preferences, and tailor your support to ensure they achieve their goals and aspirations.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
- NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 years), CPR (12 months), and National police clearance – or willingness to obtain
- A valid driver’s license and comprehensive car insurance
