Student Engagement Manager

As a Student Retention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional student support services. You will be part of a team that provides expert guidance and timely assistance to students navigating key milestones such as enrolment, academic progress, and results.
In this role, you will provide proactive student engagement through targeted outbound campaigns and outreach efforts, ensuring students receive the right support at the right time. Your expertise will not only support students directly but also empower colleagues by offering advice and resolving escalated issues.
A major focus of this position is fostering strong connections between students, university departments, and support services, directly contributing to student success and retention.
We are seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about delivering high-quality, student-centric services. This role requires flexibility to work across campuses, adaptability to different team needs, and a commitment to making a real impact in students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to students, staff, and the general public
- Provide expert guidance and timely assistance on complex student matters
- Lead targeted outbound campaigns and outreach efforts to enhance student engagement
- Foster strong connections between students, university departments, and support services
- Empower colleagues by offering advice and resolving escalated issues
Qualifications:
- Completion of an associated diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Relevant experience in providing high-quality administrative and support services within a demanding, customer-focused environment
- Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service
