Job Title: Student Experience Lead

The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the student experience, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement student onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new students.
  • Provide advice and support to students on academic, personal, and wellbeing matters.
  • Monitor student progression and retention, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for students seeking advice on academic or campus life matters.
  • Ensure institutional compliance with regulatory requirements, including ESOS/CRICOS and HESF standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to plan and organise tasks efficiently, managing competing demands and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and technology to support students.
  • Self-management skills, working independently with minimal supervision.
