We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to support our business in Melbourne, VIC. Reporting locally and globally, this key member of the management team will be responsible for various functions related to our colleagues, including recruitment, training, employee relations, and engagement.

Job Description

This exciting role involves supporting the growth of our organization by handling the full recruitment process, designing and delivering engagement surveys, collaborating with department managers on workforce planning, and executing new hire and ongoing recertification training programs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of corporate training, human resources, and/or recruiting experience, advanced MS Office skills, active listening and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to compliance and diversity.

This is a mid-senior level position that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a can-do attitude. If you are enthusiastic about training, coaching, and HR, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full cycle recruiting and candidate screening of all open positions
  • Provide information about policies, standard operating procedures, job duties, working conditions, wages, growth opportunities, and benefits to current and prospective employees
  • Advise managers on organizational policy matters, such as equal employment opportunity, employee conduct, harassment, and workplace safety, and recommend changes as necessary
  • Handling disciplinary or formal grievances in a professional and fair manner
  • Design and deliver engagement surveys, develop our Culture and Engagement strategy based on survey results
  • Collaborate with department managers to support workforce planning and employee development aligned with business objectives
  • Serve as a link between management and employees, handle questions, interpret, and administer policies, helping resolve work-related problems
  • Execute new hire and ongoing recertification training programs, making full use of company's learning technology and resources, ensuring speed to competency
