Key responsibilities

This role reports to the Finance Manager and involves partnering with General Managers and Heads Of:

  • Providing finance guidance for strong financial management across the organization
    - Building relationships with customers and other finance teams
    - Coordinating with co-located teams in Australia and overseas
    - Understanding operational decisions' impact on financial results
    - Analyzing data to identify trends or validate insights
    - Supporting monthly forecast and annual budget/planning processes
    - Initiating and leading continuous improvement projects
    - Completing ad hoc tasks as required

Your skills and experience

- Professional experience in resources, manufacturing, finance business partnership, consulting or engineering.
- Degree qualified in Commerce/Business or Engineering (preferred but not mandatory)
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem solving
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience and customer focus
- Independent, proactive and self-motivated with an ability to think outside the box and drive change
- Commercial contracts understanding is an advantage
