The Service Coordinator role is pivotal in bridging the gap between residents of affordable housing communities and essential support services that foster self-sufficiency and enhance overall quality of life.

Main Responsibilities
  • Establish partnerships with volunteer organizations in the community to provide support services.
  • Support and guide residents and families on available resources promoting wellness and a self-reliant lifestyle.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on accessible community resources.
  • Facilitate the formation of informal support networks among residents, their family members, and friends.
  • Maintain oversight of service delivery to residents to ensure appropriateness, timeliness, and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of direct experience in supportive services or disability services.
  • Pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or degree in Gerontology, Psychology, or Counseling is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, direct/guide, problem-solve, and deliver results.

Work Environment:

Work is performed indoors and outdoors in a residential setting with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise, people, and equipment.
