Disability Support Role Overview

This role involves working closely with adults in residential accommodation, providing support and assistance to help them achieve their goals. You will be responsible for implementing personalised plans that address each individual's unique needs and circumstances.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, initiative, and self-motivation, as well as excellent communication skills and English literacy. A Certificate IV in Disability or relevant work experience is highly regarded but not essential.

We offer comprehensive training and support to ensure our employees are equipped to excel in this rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing individualised plans to support clients in achieving their goals
  • Providing physical and emotional support to clients in daily living activities
  • Assisting clients with personal care needs, including meal preparation, hygiene, and mobility
  • Overnight care and support

Requirements:

  • Positive approach and initiative
  • Excellent communication and English literacy skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
  • Australian Driver Licence
  • Right to work in Australia
