About this position:
We are looking for experienced support workers to assist with complex and core support. Ensuring participant safety, well-being, and promoting their independence.
Qualifications & experience
- Must have 6-12 months experience is necessary
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health or a related field is preferred
- Working with Children check
- First Aid & CPR
- Valid Driver license (preferred but not essential)
- Full comprehensive vehicle insurance (preferred but not essential)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Rights to work in Australia.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Personal care (shower, toileting and personal hygiene assistance)
- Meal preparation (assist in cooking food)
- Household task (prepare bed and light cleaning)
- Assistance with Community access & Recreational Activities
- Manual handling and/or use of equipment and wheelchair
- Transportation
- Community Access.
- Sleepovers
- 24/7 care
- Medication administering
- Seizure Management
- Experience with Behaviours of concern

- Remuneration is based on the SCHADS (Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award) Home Care Award, plus usual shift allowances and penalty rates for the afternoon, night shift and weekend shifts worked and will depend upon the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
