In this vital role, you'll help improve the daily lives of our participants by supporting their independence, goals, and wellbeing through everyday tasks and meaningful engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Support community participation such as attending appointments, shopping, or social outings
- Encourage independence, dignity, and active living
- Observe, document, and report on client progress and wellbeing
- Assist clients in group activities and social interaction
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Passionate about supporting people with disabilities and older individuals
- Reliable, empathetic, and an excellent communicator
- Confident working independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Eager to learn and grow in the care sector
Requirements
- A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- A valid driver's licence
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to client wellbeing
- A genuine desire to make a positive impact
- A Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services is welcome but not essential
