About the Role

Regis Aged Care is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a high-quality calendar of meaningful activities and events that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lifestyle programs that promote physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and social well-being among residents
  • Collaborate with the lifestyle team to deliver engaging and meaningful activities that cater to individual needs and preferences
  • Conduct comprehensive lifestyle assessments of residents and ensure accurate documentation of their participation and engagement
  • Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver high-quality services and activities
  • Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers, and develop positive relationships with residents, families, and volunteers
  • Facilitate community engagement opportunities and promote social connections among residents

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming and aged care quality standards
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
  • Previous experience in a lifestyle assistant/coordinator position or similar
  • Previous experience in dementia care
  • Strong computer literacy skills and experience using a computerized care management system (desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
