About the Role

Regis Redlynch is seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as a Lifestyle Coordinator. This full-time position involves designing and implementing a high-quality calendar of meaningful activities and events. The successful candidate will support and coordinate staff, volunteers, and community engagement to enhance the well-being of residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop lifestyle programs based on individual needs, preferences, and goals to promote physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and social well-being.
  • Participate actively in the delivery of activities and prepare comprehensive lifestyle assessments of residents.
  • Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver engaging and meaningful lifestyle activities.
  • Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers, and develop positive relationships with residents, families, and volunteers.
  • Facilitate community engagement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming and aged care quality standards.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.
  • Previous experience in a lifestyle assistant/coordinator position or similar.
  • Previous experience in dementia care.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
