About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Lifestyle Coordinator at Regis Chelmer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a high-quality calendar of meaningful activities and events that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lifestyle programs that promote physical, intellectual, emotional, cultural, and social well-being among residents.
  • Participate actively in the delivery of activities and ensure their success.
  • Conduct comprehensive lifestyle assessments of residents and maintain accurate documentation of their participation and engagement.
  • Lead and coach the lifestyle team to deliver engaging and meaningful lifestyle activities.
  • Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteers, and develop positive relationships with residents, families, and volunteers.
  • Foster community engagement opportunities and facilitate connections between residents and the wider community.

About You

  • Demonstrated understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming and aged care quality standards.
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a lifestyle assistant/coordinator position or similar.
  • Previous experience in dementia care.
  • Strong computer literacy skills and experience using a computerized care management system.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
