Job Title: Division Head - Occupational Therapy

Division Head - Occupational Therapy Job Summary

This leadership role is a strategic position that requires extensive experience in occupational therapy, with a focus on aged care and home modifications. The successful candidate will lead a team of healthcare professionals, responsible for the development and implementation of strategic plans for the Occupational Therapy division.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent leadership and communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders. They will also be able to stay updated on trends and developments in the aged care sector and integrate new practices and technologies into service delivery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage the Occupational Therapy team, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the Occupational Therapy division aligned with organisational goals and funding body requirements.
  • Clinical Oversight: Oversee the assessment, planning, and delivery of home modifications and other occupational therapy services.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure high standards of care and service delivery.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory/funding guidelines, including eligibility criteria, service standards, and reporting requirements.
