NEPEAN Conveyors (a division of NEPEAN) provides fully engineered turnkey conveying and materials handling solutions, from concept to commissioning for some of the world's largest mining companies. Established in 1985, it manufactures and markets conveyor components including pulleys, idlers, rapid advance-rapid retreat components and drive-heads, and provides on-site installation, maintenance, and relocation of conveyor installations.

**Our Opportunity**

To support our ongoing growth, NEPEAN Conveyors NSW are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team. This position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in our design and manufacturing facility in Unanderra/Central Coast/Mudgee, NSW.

**Your duties will include however but not limited to**:

- Assist mechanical engineers and engineering technologists in the modelling and detailing of mechanical equipment.
- Prepares general assembly drawings and designs for mechanical engineering work under the direction of senior engineers.
- Ensure drawings are to AS1100 and other standards.
- Creating Technical Drawings at all levels i.e., Layouts, Arrangements, Assemblies, and details
- Understand the operation of industry equipment.

**The right person**
- Min 5 years’ experience within a similar role
- Industrial/mining industry.
- Tertiary qualifications
- Previous experience in 3D Mechanical Design
- Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D Inventor software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
