**Our** **Opportunity**

NEPEAN Conveyors are currently seeking multiple experienced Mechanical Fitter to support our ongoing growth to join the team. The position is a full-time permanent opportunity, located in Unanderra, NSW, your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Assembly and disassembly of all capital and used underground mining materials handling equipment, gearboxes, driveline equipment, winching equipment, hydraulic power packs and hydraulic driven equipment and all work functions related to this.
- Maintenance of onsite fixed and mobile plant, including the completion of the appropriate paperwork for the maintenance schedule reports, for the equipment that has been repaired /inspected.
- Welding and minor fabrication, minor painting, steam cleaning and ancillary duties
- Help train apprentices by demonstrating correct work procedures.
- Will be responsible for the housekeeping and cleanliness of your designated workplace and workshop in general to 5S Standard.

**The Right** **Person**

To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:

- Trade qualified Fitter/Machinist
- Experienced in conveyor pulley overhauls.
- Basic hydraulics experience
- Experience with bearing/lock element disassembly and assembly
- A current forklift license but not necessary
