Project Coordinator Role

The Opportunity:

We seek an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Development Services portfolio, as we launch into our 2030 strategy. This role can be based in Hobart or Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver end-to-end project coordination from feasibility through construction and handover.
  • Manage project documentation including scopes, schedules, budgets, risk registers, procurement plans, and tender submissions.
  • Build relationships with clients, councils, government authorities, consultants, and contractors.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary inputs to ensure integrated and timely project outcomes.
  • Manage project financial performance including forecasting, resource planning, reporting, and commercial risk.
  • Participate in business development, proposal preparation, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Lead and deliver multidisciplinary development and infrastructure projects within Tasmania and other states.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience in project management capability with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve competing priorities with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Technical knowledge with the ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Financial acumen with an understanding of project profitability and cost control.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing and client presentations.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Adaptability and resilience in dynamic environments with competing deadlines.
