Mining Engineer

As a Mining Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our mining operations. You will be responsible for planning and delivering expert technical advice that supports strategic decision-making and optimizes mine scheduling and performance.

  • Deliver Best Practice Mining Engineering Services
  • Ensure compliance with all safety systems and legislation to maintain a Zero Harm environment
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by working closely with Mine Managers and other stakeholders

Key qualifications include:

  • A degree-qualified Mining Engineer (or equivalent)
  • Extensive operating experience in UG coal mining
  • A detailed understanding of coal mining processes
  • Working knowledge of relevant mining legislation and its application
  • A high level of planning and problem-solving ability
