We are seeking a skilled Mining Engineer to join our team at the Coppabella-Moorvale Joint Venture. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing medium to short and medium-term mine designs and schedules, as well as monitoring and reporting on production performance against plans and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to maximize operational productivity and equipment utilization in schedules.
- Prepare and communicate site physicals for annual budget and monthly forecast processes.
- Provide detailed rolling medium-term forecasts and budgets for the operation.
- Communicate effectively with technical services, CHPP, maintenance, and mine operations personnel regarding deliverables for mid/long-term schedules.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally from within the resources sector.
- Demonstrated experience as a Mining Engineer is essential.
- Experience in a mine operation, with proven site experience in mine scheduling and design.
- Competent user of Vulcan, Deswik, Spry.
