Key Precincts Ranger Role Summary:
Job DescriptionAs a Key Precincts Ranger, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of key precincts in the Parramatta CBD. This involves conducting programmed inspections, monitoring and managing allocated service requests, and reporting to managers/supervisors to achieve desired outcomes.
You will also be required to investigate complaints, issue warnings/cautions, penalty notices, or notices and orders for detected offences. Additionally, you will liaise with staff from Place Services to seek resolution of key issues affecting customer and stakeholder relationships, as well as issues affecting amenity and function of key places and precincts.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, conflict resolution, mediation, facilitation, and negotiation skills. You will also need to hold a current Class C driver's license and/or Certificate IV in Regulatory Services/Investigations, and/or other equivalent and relevant certificates.
A commitment to maintaining ongoing excellence, prioritising and managing competing interests, and working effectively as a team member is also essential.
