Opportunity for Radiographer / Trainee Sonographer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer / Trainee Sonographer to join our team in NSW Health. This role comes with a Recruitment Incentive Package, recognizing the key health workers' contribution to rural and remote health services.

This is a permanent full-time position classified as BI Radiographer Level 3 Grade 1, offering a remuneration package between $112406.21 and $116044.62 per annum, with 35 hours worked per week.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level radiographic services to patients of Far West NSW LHD, adhering to established practices and patient care standards.
  • Ultrasound qualifications are preferred or desired for future training.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current authority to practice as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with AHPRA, and hold a current NSW EPA radiation licence.
  • Effective clinical and non-clinical communication skills, utilizing information technology, written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities.
  • High level of knowledge and proficiency in complex clinical procedures.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and organize own and section workload.
  • Experience developing and supervising multi-disciplinary teams.
