Mental Health Care Specialist
">We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical care and therapeutic services to clients with chronic mental illness in rural Western NSW.
">This role is part of our multi-disciplinary team, working across the stepped mental health care model from 'Wellbeing Place' centres and remote clinics via 4x4 and light aircraft.
">The position will meet the needs of the Mental Health in Practice contract awarded to us by the Western NSW Primary Health Network.
">Key aspects of this role include:

- Providing a coordinated clinical-care service to clients living with chronic mental illness.">
- Facilitating a recovery-oriented service in keeping with current MHNIP guidelines.">
- Working with our team and clients to provide a higher level of clinical assessment, diagnostics and treatment planning.">
- Ensuring healthcare equity despite geographical remoteness.">
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience working in rural/remote/population health, as well as experience working in a cross-cultural environment and with families, couples, and groups.
">Essential Qualifications & Experience:
">A Master of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner Mental Health qualification and registration with AHPRA as a Nurse Practitioner are essential for this role.
