Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive mental health care services to remote and rural communities.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide high-quality, recovery-oriented mental health services, ensuring healthcare equity despite geographical remoteness.

  • Deliver clinical care across the stepped mental health care model from wellbeing centres and outreach services.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
  • Facilitate a mix of therapy and case management in line with client needs.

Key Qualifications

  • A Master of Nursing in Mental Health and registration as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Significant experience working in rural or remote settings, preferably in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Experience working with families, couples, and groups, particularly in pastoral settings.
