Job Summary

A dedicated Clinical Nurse Educator is sought to provide expert guidance and support to nursing staff in a dynamic critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality education and evidence-based learning to optimize patient outcomes and enhance nursing practice.
  • Ensure the successful completion of orientation programs and core clinical competencies for all new nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Assess and address clinical competencies, providing targeted support and development opportunities to meet individual and team needs.
  • Facilitate education through engaging clinical expertise, delivering effective learning opportunities that cater to diverse learning styles and preferences.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and practicing certificate.
  • Post-graduate qualification relevant to the position, demonstrating a strong foundation in nursing leadership and education.
  • Demonstrated expertise in current nursing issues and practices, with a focus on cardiothoracic ICU nursing.
  • Minimum five years of post-graduate experience in clinical practice, with a proven track record of success in nursing education and leadership.
