Hastings Deering is seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team in Darwin. This is a permanent, Monday to Friday role working 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a liaison between the Service Team, customers, and product/mining support representatives, ensuring effective communication on job scope, pricing, and timeframes.
- Facilitate invoice clarity and prompt payment by ensuring accurate and complete parts, labour, and work descriptions.
- Create and maintain records within the Asset Tracker system to track customer and HDAL asset movements.
- Ensure customer requirements are accurately captured and communicated to the Service team.
- Implement action plans to achieve monthly financial performance and revenue targets.

- Relevant trade qualification
- Proven experience working in a frontline service department within the heavy mining and construction industries
- Sound computing skills, including Microsoft AX and Power BI
- In-depth knowledge of Caterpillar machinery and products
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
