Occupational Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Health Specialist to provide high-quality services to corporate and government clients, improving workforce health, safety, and wellbeing.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-employment medical examinations, fitness-for-work assessments, and injury management consultations.
  • Provide expert advice on workplace health and safety, including return-to-work planning.
  • Implement effective health programs, including drug and alcohol testing and vaccinations.
  • Collaborate with employers to deliver customized health solutions for their workforce.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with standards.
  • Enjoy flexible working hours with no after-hours or on-call requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a motivated and experienced medical professional with:

  • A current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Postgraduate training in occupational medicine (or working toward qualifications, e.g., FAFOEM, GradDipOccMed).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to patient care and customer service.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in occupational health, general practice, or related fields is highly desirable.
