This role contributes to the health, safety, and productivity of Australia's public sector through early intervention, rehabilitation, and performance management support.

About the Position

An exciting opportunity exists to join a team that supports the wellbeing and performance of public servants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver case management services for employees, including early intervention, injury management, and performance support.
  • Provide practical advice on legislative, regulatory, and procedural matters relating to wellbeing and performance.
  • Partner with business areas to implement strategies that promote sustained performance improvement, using APS Work Level Standards and the Integrated Leadership System.
  • Contribute to the management and improvement of the Rehabilitation Management System (RMS) and organisational wellbeing initiatives.
  • Promote a safe, ethical, and respectful workplace aligned with APS Values and the APS Code of Conduct.
Requirements
  • Experience in early intervention, rehabilitation, performance case management, or work health and safety.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, or the ability to quickly acquire it.
  • High-level communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

A baseline security clearance is required for this position.
