Job Title: Senior Financial Regulatory Counsel

This role involves delivering expert legal counsel on financial services regulations, ensuring adherence to Australian codes and AML/CTF laws. Key responsibilities include facilitating understanding and adherence to regulation codes, navigating compliance obligations, reviewing and enhancing internal policies and controls.

The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in financial service regulation, preferably from financial institutions or law firms, with an in-depth understanding of financial regulations in Australia.

  • Expertise in Payment Products, fraud, AML, or CTF is essential.
  • Strong communication skills are required to provide clear and concise legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills and prioritization abilities are crucial for achieving company goals.

This position plays a critical role in supporting the business's strategic objectives by operating as a business partner and providing commercial acumen.
