Senior Legal Counsel for Regulatory Matters

This is a 12-month contract opportunity to join a team providing legal advice on significant regulatory matters.
As a senior legal counsel, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing issues related to legislative and regulatory change.
Key regulators include ASIC, APRA, ACCC, and SIRA. You will liaise with external counsel and manage regulatory engagement on behalf of the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7-8 years PQE experience in complex regulatory investigations, preferably in financial services regulation.
A top-tier trained law firm background and some in-house experience are highly desirable.
You must be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and enjoy building relationships.
