Substance Use Counsellor

  • Work closely with clients to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, using evidence-based interventions to support recovery and relapse prevention.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.

Key Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in health or welfare field, such as social work, psychology, nursing, or allied health sciences.
  • Experience working with AOD or dual-diagnosis clients.
  • Proven ability to provide drug and alcohol assessment and counselling activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with diverse client groups.
