This role involves providing evidence-based interventions to support positive behavioural change in clients. The counsellor will work with clients using various modalities, including face-to-face, video conferencing, and telephone counselling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver substance abuse treatment services to support clients' rehabilitation goals
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive client care
- Contribute to monthly reporting and monitoring of key performance indicators and targets
Requirements:
- Diploma in Substance Abuse Treatment (mandatory)
- Experience working in the substance abuse sector
- Four core units in AOD is desirable
- Expertise in Counselling and knowledge of modalities
- Tertiary qualification in Counselling is desirable
- Current Employee Working with Children Check
