Role Overview

A highly skilled Estimator is required to join our Pre-contracts team on the Sunshine Coast. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pricing and delivering Civil projects, particularly in subdivisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pricing and Estimating: Review tender documentation, scope of works, and contract documents to prepare accurate estimates for projects across Queensland and Northern NSW.
  • Project Delivery: Ensure bids meet client expectations and contribute to the success of the project team.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Pre-contracts team to achieve business objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant Experience: Proven track record in pricing or delivering Civil projects, preferably in subdivisions.
  • Demonstrated Ownership: Previous experience demonstrating ownership and accountability in project delivery.
  • Industry Knowledge: Proficient in industry-standard software programs and able to articulate construction methods clearly.
  • Risk Management: Ability to identify risks, opportunities, and present alternate methodologies or solutions to achieve better project outcomes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage confidently with coworkers, management, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Mentorship: Experience mentoring junior estimators.
