About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. This is a rare opportunity for a passionate and talented individual to take charge of the day-to-day operations, grow revenues, and maximize financial performance.

  • Hands on management of the culinary operation
  • Lead, coach, and mentor team members to ensure they are equipped to do their job and develop them for the future
  • Cultivate a culture of care and empathy among team members
  • Develop new menus in line with brand standards and stay up-to-date with seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and occupational health & safety standards
  • Collaborate with sales and front-of-house teams to ensure customer satisfaction is exceeded

Qualifications

  • Recent experience in a similar role within the hotel industry
  • Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Proven success in leading and developing teams
  • Knowledge of the market and demonstrated flair and creativity
  • Strong interpersonal skills used to build effective relationships with all stakeholders
