Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Category Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the buying function and executing category strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and influence with cross-functional and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Manage time and workload to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Review market data to identify opportunities and initiatives to drive sales, profitability, and market share
  • Lead brand, product, and sales strategy based on data and insights

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in commerce or a relevant technical field and experience in merchandising, purchasing, or commercial environment. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential, and prior exposure to data analysis and the ability to translate data into recommendations is necessary.
