Job Opportunity

Sydney based professional sought for key sustainability role.

The City is looking for a skilled and experienced leader to provide strategic environmental leadership across the organisation.

This includes leading the development of strategies, targets and projects to improve environmental performance and build resilience in our operations and across the local area.

Key responsibilities include:

  • embedding environmental priorities into systems and processes across the organisation
  • coordinating strategy implementation across multiple teams to ensure targets are achieved, measured and reported
  • leading risk management for environmental and climate risks affecting the organisation and community
  • providing specialist advice and fostering collaboration with stakeholders across government, industry and the community.

Required skills and qualifications include a relevant degree and more than 10 years experience in sustainability. Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills are essential.
