Job Opportunity: Turf Care Specialist

This position involves the inspection, maintenance and renovation of turf facilities to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, maintain and renovate turf surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Apply chemicals safely and in compliance with chemical management policies.
  • Maintain, repair and report on all equipment, tools and vehicles.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for team members.
Requirements:
  • A relevant apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • Current and valid certification for applying chemicals.
  • A current driver's license.
Desirable Skills:
  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent.
  • Experience maintaining warm and cool season turf surfaces, as well as turf wickets.
  • Proficiency in operating various types of turf machinery.
  • Line marking experience on sports fields.
  • Operational knowledge of multi-pro sprayers.
  • Strong ability to identify pests and diseases affecting turf.
  • Leadership experience, including supervising and motivating staff.
