Turf Care Specialist

The role of the Turf Care Specialist involves ensuring that sports fields are maintained to a high standard, complying with legislative requirements and Australian Standards. This includes monitoring contractors' delivery of maintenance activities, annual programs, and projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting and reporting on quality and performance
- Developing programs to ensure functional usage in consultation with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting the management and performance of open space maintenance contracts in line with agreed KPIs
- Identifying and managing key corporate and safety risks associated with asset management
- Providing timely and person-focused customer service at all times
To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate III in Irrigation or 2+ years of experience in irrigation installation or maintenance. A tertiary qualification in turf management or other relevant area is desirable, or several years of practical experience.
A basic knowledge of contract management and reporting is required, as well as the ability to interact with customers, stakeholders, and others in relation to issues with contractor or asset performance.
