We are seeking an experienced Mine Planning Consultant to join our team. This role will involve collaborating with specialists in mine scheduling and design to deliver a leading software solution.
The consultant will work closely with clients to implement our software, with a focus on short-term planning solutions. This is a full-time role based out of Perth, with regular domestic travel required.
As a Mine Planning Consultant, you will have the opportunity to utilize your knowledge of mining engineering, mine design, planning, simulation, and scheduling to implement business software solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities- Scope, implement and configure our software for clients with a focus on short-term mine planning products.
- Provide training, support and client liaison for existing clients.
- Assist with the provision of general software consulting services as required.
- Identify new clients for both our software and consulting services.
- Maintain high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Assist the business development team in promoting our software to potential clients.
You will have:
- Primary experience in mine planning with a minimum of 3-5 years operational short-term planning experience.
- A working knowledge of mine design, planning and scheduling techniques.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong relationship building and management skills in complex business environments.
- Ability to travel regularly, temporary project site assignments are sometimes required during large implementation projects.
- Legally entitled to work in Australia and based in Perth.
- Extensive knowledge of mine planning/scheduling and design packages available in the market.
- Site-based experience in the short-term planning space.
- Experience in software and implementation consulting.
- Understanding of operational data systems used on site, including Fleet Management, Drill and Blast and other data capture systems.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and contributing to capturing, analysing and providing guidance around on-site operational data.
