About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Mine Planning Specialist to join our team of experts in delivering cutting-edge mine planning solutions.

This role involves collaborating with specialists in mine scheduling and design to provide tailored solutions for clients using XECUTE, the world's leading software platform.

As a key member of our consulting team, you will work closely with clients to implement short-term planning solutions, providing training, support, and liaison services as required.

This position requires a Production Engineer or Short-Term Mine Planner with practical site operational experience and a strong understanding of mine design, planning, and scheduling techniques.

You will have a proven track record of building relationships and managing complex projects, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to travel regularly, you must be legally entitled to work in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scope, implement and configure RPM Software for clients using the RPM short term mine planning products (XECUTE).
  • Provide training, support, and client liaison for existing clients.
  • Assist with general software consulting services as required.
  • Identify new clients for RPM software and consulting services.
  • Maintain high customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Assist the business development team in promoting RPM software to potential clients.
  • Provide input into the future direction of RPM software products and consulting services.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Primary experience in mine planning with 3-5 years operational short term planning experience.
  • A working knowledge of mine design, planning, and scheduling techniques.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building and management skills in complex business environments.
  • Ability to travel regularly.
  • Legally entitled to work in Australia.

Highly Regarded Qualifications and Experience

  • Extensive knowledge of mine planning/scheduling and design packages.
  • Site-based experience in the short-term planning space.
  • Experience in software and implementation consulting.
  • Understanding of operational data systems used on site.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and contributing to capturing and providing guidance around on-site operational data.
