Heavy Equipment Servicer Job

We are seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Servicers to join our team in various locations across NSW.

As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing routine servicing and repairs on large-scale mobile mining equipment. This includes CAT Trucks and Dozers, Graders, and other ancillary equipment. You will also source technical information from relevant reference manuals and complete maintenance tasks according to Thiess' documentation.

  1. Perform regular servicing, repairs, and maintenance on large-scale mobile mining equipment, including but not limited to CAT Trucks and Dozers, Graders and other ancillary equipment as directed by the team lead or supervisor.
  2. Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, OEMs, computer-based systems, and complete maintenance tasks according to company documentation.
  3. Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
  4. Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Fitter.
  • Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry.
  • Able to obtain relevant Certificate of Proficiency issued by Training NSW.
  • Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component changeouts and servicing of Heavy Earthmoving equipment.

Additionally, demonstrated experience with Liebherr and CAT large earthmoving equipment is preferred.
