Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of skilled technicians, overseeing the efficient operation of our fleet, and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with industry standards.

About This Position:

  • Leverage your experience in supervising maintenance activities on operational mines to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Work closely with production and planning departments to prioritise tasks and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a G8 or G9 supervising certificate and experience in supervising maintenance activities on an operational mine.
  • Be trade-qualified as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent heavy vehicle mechanic qualification.
  • Proven experience in a leading hand or senior field maintenance role within a mining or heavy industry environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of large-scale mining equipment and field maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
  • High level of commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Current driver's licence and ability to work a rotating roster.
  • Post-trade operational mine site experience.
  • High risk work license EWP, Dogging, C6 desirable.
