Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned testing professional to spearhead our Open Banking initiative.

As the Test Lead, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and execution of our Test Strategy across the delivery of Open Banking requirements. This encompasses providing expertise on testing methodologies, test planning, stakeholder engagement, test automation, test execution, reporting, resource management, and risk/issue management.

The role involves defining, implementing, and executing a comprehensive Test Strategy for our Open Banking programme of work. You will coordinate stakeholder management, strategy development, resource planning, implementation, execution, analysis, and reporting for all testing engagements.

You will lead and mentor the Test Team, ensuring consistency and quality of delivery across various testing phases, including System, Functional, Regression, and Business Acceptance testing.

The ideal candidate will drive continual improvement of testing methodology, tools, processes, approaches, and techniques. Experience with Consumer Data Rights Standards and Regulations is highly desirable, as is familiarity with API testing tools such as SoapUI and Postman.

A strong leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to produce high-quality written documentation, and vendor management expertise are essential for this role. The successful candidate will also possess a deep understanding of testing principles and practices.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Test Lead in complex integration projects, preferably within the financial sector.
  • 5+ years' experience in Testing within software development projects at Test Analyst and Senior Test Analyst level.
  • Experience with Consumer Data Rights Standards and Regulations is highly desirable.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as SoapUI and Postman is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written documentation.
  • Strong vendor management skills.
