
Testing Officer

The Testing team has the responsibility to test all changes, enhancements and corrections to the core systems that support QRO's SPER and Fines business operations.
- Liaising with business analysts, developers, service management team and business representatives to perform testing activities
- Writing test scripts (both manual and automated) and preparing test data for various types of testing e.g. SIT, Regression testing
- Executing test scripts, clearly documenting outcomes and managing defects
- Leading and guiding other test team members.
You will be supported by a positive, constructive team and divisional leaders as you do your work.
Key accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to: - Performing activities across the full software testing cycle, including: - analysing and understanding business requirements relating to system changes, enhancements and corrections
- preparing test scripts that adequately validate that business requirements are met and expected outcomes are achieved
- identifying and creating test data required for test scenarios
- executing test scripts, examining results and clearly documenting outcomes
- Using test automation tools, where available, to assist with testing activities.
**To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate**: - Agile system testing methodologies
- Testing and defect management tools, ideally Zephyr Scale or HP ALM.
