Executive Chef Opportunity at Panthers Port Macquarie

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at Panthers Port Macquarie.
As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality cuisine in our restaurant, functions, and TAPP kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of chefs in the preparation and presentation of menu items
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control
- Collaborate with senior chefs and other kitchen staff to achieve team goals
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a senior cooking role within the hospitality industry
- Previous experience in function catering and event management
- Strong passion for delivering exceptional food service and customer experience
- Commercial Cookery Trade Qualifications
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
